Tompkins Builders, Inc. Forms Board of
Directors
Chairman Ed Small serves as
the president of Tompkins Builders. Vice Chairman William
M. Brennan is the chief executive officer of Tompkins
Builders, which recently became a wholly owned subsidiary
of the Turner Construction Company. He currently serves as
the senior vice president of the Turner Construction Company
Mid-Atlantic Region. Roger Lang
is the executive vice president, risk management for Turner
Construction Company in New York. Gregory
Druga serves as the senior vice president of operations
for Tompkins Builders, Inc. Robert
Maxwell was senior vice president of the Turner Construction
Company before his retirement in December 2001.
Stephen S. Fuller, Ph.D. is
a professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. and
was named to the Dwight Schar Faculty Chair. Robert
M. Gordon is a prominent Northern Virginia attorney
and investor. Brigadier General Leif
Hendrickson is retired from the US Marine Corp.
Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington
announced recently that Sean Straser
has joined the organization as Assistant Training Director
of Local 602 Apprenticeship Training School. Straser worked
with W.E. Bowers, Inc. for 10 years and with other contractors
for a year and a half. He graduated from the Apprenticeship
School as Steamfitter Valedictorian in 1998, and completed
the UA Instructor Training Program in 2003.
Guy P. Cipriano has been appointed
president and chief executive officer of EI Associates, Cedar
Knolls, N.J. and Harrisburg, Penn. EI Associates is a leading
architectural, engineering and construction management firm
in the Mid-Atlantic region. Cirpiano was also names president
of EI Realty, a related real estate development, management
and investment company which owns and manages 1.8 million
sq. ft. of office and industrial buildings in New Jersey and
Pennsylvania.
Gruzen Samton recently promoted James
Loucks to associate partner. Loucks serves as office
director and design manager for the architectural firm's Alexandria,
Va. office. Loucks provides administrative and managerial
leadership, oversees recruitment and supervision of staff
and control of daily operations for the firm. With more than
15 years of experience in the Washington, D.C. area, Loucks
has managed numerous projects that range from 50,000 to 400,000
sq. ft.
Hill International recently promoted three of its key executives
to vice president within Hill's Project Management Group.
Alvin R. Zion with Hill's Philadelphia
office, was promoted to vice president from project manager.
Zion has more than 35 years of experience. Gregory
A. Griffin, with Hill's Washington D.C. office, was
promoted to vice president from project director. Griffin
is currently the assistant project directory on Hill's contract
for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases
providing program management services to construct biocontainment
research laboratories around the country. Jeffrey
E. Sueck, with Hill's Marlton, N.J. office, has been
promoted to vice president from manger of estimating. He will
continue to be responsible for managing Hill's estimating
group.
