Perkins + Will Adds Former GSA Chief
Jerry Ennis leaves Boldt Construction to take the helm at Howard Shockey & Sons, while Stephen Daves and Charles Loving official transition to top posts at R.W. Murray Co.
Perkins+Will is adding high-level talent to better position its Washington, D.C., office to pursue the federal market. The firm recently hired Ed Feiner, former chief architect of the U.S. General Services Administration, as principal. Feiner served as GSA’s chief architect from 1996 to 2005, during which time he founded its Design Excellence Program. Since leaving GSA, Feiner has served as chief architect for Las Vegas Sands Corp. and managing director of the D.C. office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Perkins+Will also recently added Greg Williams and Jeff Welter as principals in the D.C. office.

Parsons Brinckerhoff of Philadelphia named Stephen Moore vice president. Mr. Moore will be responsible for managing PB’s Philadelphia and Harrisburg operations.
Leo A Daly of Washington recently announced two appointments. Lane Abernathy is vice president and director of operations. She will be responsible for overseeing business and internal operations for the D.C. office. Bjorn Hallsson is senior designer. Hallson previously held various leadership positions at OWP/P Inc. in Chicago, most recently serving as principal and director of design.
Skanska USA Building of Rockville, Md., hired Joseph Tierney as senior project manager. In his new role, Tierney will manage the Adjudication Co-Location Activities Facility at Fort George G. Meade, Md. He was previously employed by Turner Construction, where he served as project manager for the Army Corps of Engineers’ expansion of the National Defense University in Washington, D.C.
Turner Construction of Arlington, Va., recently announced two promotions to its Special Projects/Interiors division. Jeff Burnham is vice president and general manager. Kelly Chi is preconstruction manager.
Skanska USA Civil promoted Sal Taddeo to executive vice president for its Southeast region. He will oversee the offices in Virginia Beach and Atlanta as well as subsidiary company Bayshore Concrete Products, also in Virginia.
The Bozzuto Group of Greenbelt, Md., recently announced two management changes in its marketing department. Jamie Gorski was hired as senior vice president of corporate marketing. She was previously senior vice president and chief marketing officer for KETTLER. She will run the marketing department and provide strategic marketing direction for each of Bozzuto’s six integrated companies. Israel Carunungan was promoted to vice president of property marketing.
Urban Engineers recently announced several personnel moves. John S. Holak, Jr. joined the Philadelphia office as senior project manager in the firm’s construction and program management department. Ahmad Nadeem was promoted to business line director for marine services provided in Philadelphia. Richard Shoemaker was hired as a transportation construction manager in the firm’s Mechanicsburg, Pa., office.
Granary Associates of Philadelphia recently announced two promotions. Jim McPhilemy is managing associate. Nicole Battaglia is managing associate.
Hill International of Philadelphia hired Michael S. Luciani as a vice president with Hill’s Project Management Group. Prior to joining Hill, he was regional business development manager with the Gilbane Building Co.
McDonough Bolyard Peck hired Kristine Martin as lead consultant. She will assist the Williamsburg Branch with the municipality work it performs throughout the Tidewater region.
Cannon Design of Arlington, Va., recently announced two promotions. Christopher T. Hayes is vice president. Roberto Cruz Niemiec is associate vice president.
