Gilbane Bolsters Regional Ranks
Gilbane expands Philly district manager’s role to include all of Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey.

Gilbane Building Co. recently promoted Gregory Stewart to senior vice president and regional manager of its Delaware Valley region. In this position, he oversees regional operations in Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey. Stewart is a 13-year veteran of Gilbane with over 24 years of construction experience. He most recently served as district manager in Gilbane’s Philadelphia office. In the D.C. metro area, Gilbane named Carolyn Pfude vice president and Transition Planning/Management business unit director. Gilbane’s TPM team provides planning and implementation support to clients who are activating new facilities and transitioning daily business operations. In her role, she manages the expansion of TPM services to clients nationwide. Gilbane Building Company also named Dennis Curl vice president. He is a senior project executive of the Healthcare Center of Excellence.

Barton Malow named Phil Kirby senior vice president, Eastern Region. Based in the Charlottesville, Va. office, Kirby oversees operations and business development for offices in Maryland, northern Virginia, and central Virginia.
HOK hired Raymond Moldenhauer as principal and regional healthcare director. He is responsible for expansion of HOK’s national healthcare practice from the D.C. office. Prior to joining HOK, Moldenhauer was principal and regional director for Cannon Design
KlingStubbins hired Lida Dersookian as principal and director of interiors in its Washington office. Her responsibilities include providing design guidance and quality assurance, as well as pursuing opportunities to develop new business.
Leo A Daly promoted Alan Feltoon to vice president and director of operations. He is responsible for overseeing business and internal operations for the Washington office. Ray Ruhlman, former director of operations, is now assuming the role of project manager for the firm’s large projects in its aviation market sector. The firm also hired Robert Branick as director of business development for the Washington office.
Turner Construction promoted Susan Boggs to vice president and manager of business development in its Washington office.
RK&K of Baltimore recently named Michael Myers partner. He joined the firm in 1990.
O’Donnell & Naccarato of Philadelphia promoted Douglas Seaboldt to project executive. He is responsible for general project overview, overall project organization, creativity, economy and technical accuracy.
Sigal Construction of Arlington, Va., recently announced several new hires, including Stacey Coughlin, director of marketing; Evan Remele, project manager; David Gebhardt, assistant project manager; Andrew Patching, assistant project manager; Daniel Schlesinger, assistant project manager; Brian Borawski, superintendent; Donald Covey, superintendent; Michael Courtillet, superintendent; David Krek, superintendent; William Whelchel, superintendent; Jeffrey Edwards, safety engineer; Gerard Gibson, safety manager; and Stephen Vayo, quality control manager.

Susan Hinz was hired as an interior designer in its Baltimore office. Matthew Thacker and Kori Turner were hired to the Arlington, Va., design staff. Daryoush Batmanghelidj was hired as senior project manager. Joseph Lee Coyle was promoted to associate principal.
Davis Carter Scott of McLean, Va., hired Christopher Downie as project director for interior architecture. Downie previously managed his own design business for eight years.
