Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company

Link-Belt Construction Equipment Company is readying its launch of the new TCC-750 75-ton telescopic crawler and the 75-ton HTT-865 Series II Telescopic Terrain crane. The TCC-750 differs little from earlier models but is an upgrade in terms of maneuverability and capacities. It features completely sealed lower and hydraulically retractable side frames. The retracted gauge is 8.4 ft but has additional working modes at 11.9 ft and 14 ft. Additionally, the boom length is 38-115 ft with a maximum height of 121 ft.

The HTT-8675 Series II features super single tires and all-wheel steering and AT-like steering modes allow for effective maneuverability on or off the road. The 8675 has a formed, greaseless boom that utilizes Link-Belt’s latching mechanism and features four lift modes, EM1-EM4.

Kawasaki’s new 92ZV-2 Wheel Loader

Kawasaki’s new 92ZV-2 6.0-6.6 cu yd wheel loader (see photo below) was not merely created as a “stretched out” version of the company’s earlier models. With a fuel efficient, certified Tier III emissions engine and providing 284 FHP and 47 % torque rise, the new version has more power for digging and is better suited for climbing than earlier versions. Perhaps more noticeable to operators will be the increased comfort and ease of operation aided by fingertip controls to customize settings and make adjustments that adjust to different working conditions. But despite the agility and operability of the 92ZV-2, it also boasts greater structural integrity than its predecessors with a full box section frame, heavy center pins and support structures, as well as dual Z-Linkage and a new chassis design.

The loose-fill insulation made from a mixture of recycled newspapers was confirmed by the ICC as meeting the requirements of the International Building, Residential and Energy Conservation codes.
